You recently installed a new PC with an SSD and a hard drive, and you have folders for Documents, Downloads, desktop, videos, pictures, and music. You wanted to move these folders to different subfolders on your hard drive, but instead of creating separate ones, you linked everything to the D:/ drive without any subdirectories. When you tried to fix it by manually moving each folder, the issue persisted because changing one location affected all others, even though you selected not to move any files. You're trying to reorganize them but aren't sure how to handle the ongoing changes. Could someone with experience help you resolve this?

It seems the settings for those folders are all pointing to the same place, and any adjustment causes everything to update automatically.
