Old Game Stutters After 15 or 20 Minutes
I built my PC in November. Although I’m not very experienced with tech, I did a lot of research and asked people who know more than me. (Actually, I tried to look into some parts here on Tom’s.) I managed to get the best options I could afford and managed to find an RTX 3080. I’m satisfied...well, mostly. I can play games like AC Valhalla, Witcher 3, and Death Stranding for long periods without issues. Except for some problems in Valhalla.
I’m having trouble with a classic match 3 game called Sky Bubbles Deluxe, which was released back in 2006. It’s a game I enjoy when I want something simple and easy. The game runs smoothly at first but starts to slow down and lag after about 20 minutes. Eventually, it becomes unplayable. The only solution is to restart my PC.
Here are my system details:

I’m not sure if it’s a good idea, but I’d like to play this game. Am I too old for my system?
It seems the game might face common challenges. Since you're confident in handling tough titles like Death Stranding and Assassins Creed Valhalla, a simple matching game should be fine. Just make sure your BIOS is up to date—it's not likely to fix this issue but could help with other problems.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree, I'll discard the game and look into a BIOS update.
Thank you for your message. I attempted that earlier but didn't get any positive results. Your response was appreciated, and I tried my best to assist.
