I just changed my home setup to Cat6. WiFi is functioning well, but Ethernet isn’t working. I’m attaching some photos because it’s simpler than explaining the problem. The cable linking the switch to the router shows a light, confirming it’s connected correctly. However, the other ports that go out aren’t receiving a signal.

Verify cable connections and crimp integrity on both ends. Also, confirm there are no splices present.

The wiring is damaged. At least one Ethernet port should illuminate when powered devices are connected at both ends.

It seems unclear, but I believe it might be difficult to understand.

You selected option A incorrectly, and the cap was placed upside down.

It seems you're experiencing an issue with incorrect termination. You'll need to re-crimp the cables properly. Use a working cable and match its termination method.

The conclusion appears reversed, with the professionals achieving an 8-1 outcome rather than the expected 1-8.

I've visited several homes and haven't noticed a solid termination done by experts. Appreciate it if they didn't damage your new wiring with their strong staple guns lol. You'll find cat6 RJ45 connectors here: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rj45+connecto..._sb_noss_2 They're much simpler to handle thanks to their special design: https://www.amazon.com/ITBEBE-Plated-Thr...way&sr=8-3 And a useful tool: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rj45+crimp+to..._sb_noss_1

Opt for Keystone Jacks instead of male plugs.
