Hey there! Just finished downloading the CSS and got started. I was wondering if it's possible to play this game without an internet connection. I saw some YouTube videos showing it done offline, but I haven't tried it myself. If it works for you too, let me know how! Also, just a note—my Steam username is Anupgamer1 if anyone wants to join me. I plan to start playing CS:GO next week, cheers!

I got Source recently for Garry's Mod. Although I already own CSGO and didn’t plan to play it, I tried a short session. I wasn’t sure if I examined it thoroughly, but I was surprised to find there was no offline mode with bots.

CS:GO has a dedicated offlline mode with bots, but I think in source you have to create a server and it will populate with bots but I'm not sure.

No, you don't necessarily need the internet to run a server.

CSS supports LAN functionality. This means you can operate without needing a connection because you're managing your own server. If you wish for others to connect, an internet link is necessary. Alternatively, a hub can be used for LAN gaming.
