You're experiencing low FPS on your gaming laptop despite having a powerful i7-6700HQ processor, decent RAM, and a decent GPU. The issue might stem from outdated drivers, background processes, or insufficient system resources. Checking for the latest Java and NVIDIA drivers, closing unnecessary applications, and ensuring your system meets the minimum requirements for the game could help improve performance.

Open the NVIDIA drivers folder and adjust the GPU setting to "powerful NVIDIA Graphics."

It seems your computer is likely using its built-in graphics to play Minecraft.

I should definitely mention that in English; it would prevent those awkward translations and keep the humor away. My default setting is a GT540m, and calling it "powerful" isn't exactly accurate.

I recall the direwolf 1.7.10 pack running sluggishly on various gaming setups. The 1.6.4 release performs significantly better. Consider increasing RAM allocation in the ftb launcher, keep Task Manager active during gameplay, and monitor your CPU and memory usage.

They use a system that automatically uses the GPU, but you need to enable it manually in Minecraft.

It's already running on 4GB, but it isn't utilizing the full capacity. With my i7-6700HQ, it's still a solid chip and many users experience smooth performance without any delays.

Minecraft operates using Java, which typically doesn’t require a special graphics card. Most games like Arma and Ark treat themselves as executables and verify the presence of a dedicated card before running. It seems Minecraft follows a similar approach.

I believe I found a solution. I set the system to use 4GB of RAM, which is suggested for newer models, while 1.7.10 performs best with around 2.5GB. Using more RAM than recommended actually slows down frame rates, though I’ll verify this later.
