It's really kind of you to say that, the CSGO fans can be tough, but it's nice to hear!
For some, CSGO shifts from just a game into a career and a source of income.
This game feels like a frustrating experience, more of a headache than fun. It’s hard to stay motivated after almost losing everything just a few wins away from the leaderboard. Then you have to keep grinding for hours on end, mostly solo. The whole system seems unfair—rank systems aren’t about skill, they’re about luck and persistence. Those who actually earned their spots got hit hard, and it’s frustrating. Lower ranks are just traps, and the game itself is a joke.
I’d trade my two CSGO alt's, but I’m not sure it’s a good idea.
It's a decision you take, and after more than 1,000 hours I've only invested money in the purchase itself.
I have some buddies who manage to earn 200-500 dollars each month from CSGO. It's not enough to live on but it gives you a nice little extra cash. I didn't want to bother myself with it. I bought an AWP drop that was about $4 once (FN Wormgod), sold it right away for another game. I felt a bit disappointed when the price went up to +$10 for a while, but then I thought, "Well, it's free money after all."
