Me and my brother are looking at VR, and we went to a Microsoft store to test then to see which one was better and also to test them. But then the person running the Demos said that the vive and oculus are pretty much the same and all you need to do to get the same experience as the vive is to get a third sensor and the revive mod. I was wondering if this is true because If it is it would be much cheaper to get the oculus. Also he is the only one who has said that so I'd like a few opinions.

He's correct about that. The oculus controllers could use some improvements.

They are almost identical. Oculus offers great built-in headphones, while Vive uses a front-facing camera. Oculus runs its own software, Vive relies on Steam VR. Oculus controllers are slightly superior, and Vive is developing something even better, though no launch details yet.

I believe the Vive is superior since it has significantly more games available on Steam.

But regarding the room size, I have roughly six feet of open area available. Will it function with the Oculus setup that uses three cameras?
