Optical USB 3.0 cable, powered USB hub, extended HDMI cable, and a female-to-female HDMI adapter might function. Alternatively, you might consider constructing an additional PC solely for VR.

Setting up vive would be simpler since the base stations aren't linked to the pc, unlike with the oculus. Just need one USB and one HDMI.
