Hi,
I recently adjusted some settings on my O/C and saved some profiles on Riva Tuna.
Mobo-Motherboard – Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
gpu-gtx960-cpu fx6300, 16gb DDR3 CX500WPSU
I realize my board isn’t ideal for overclocking.
I’ve set a maximum power usage of 105%, capped at 108%.
Core clock is 108 MHz, memory clock 327 MHz.
I have strong cooling with X5 fans and an Artic cooler.
These are my benchmarks from UserBenchmarks: Game 38%, Desk 43%, Work 32%.
CPU: AMD FX-6300 – 51%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 – 42.9%
HDD: Toshiba P300 2TB – 92.6%
RAM: Unknown 2x8GB – 45.1%
MBD: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
All values are within acceptable ranges for my rig (just a bit).
How will this board perform if I upgrade to a Ryzen 7 at £20 per watt?
Ty.

Simply monitor the temperatures; everything should be okay until you switch systems. For gaming, upgrading the GPU is recommended to achieve the highest FPS.

It's difficult to determine what you need from your computer because you haven't specified your requirements.

Hi,
I'm just working on boosting the game's speed a bit and trying to sharpen my O/C skills. My main worry is avoiding burning out the board, even though moving from sailboat to jet ski was a big win for me—just for fun.
