It's not advised because it limits your faster processors. It's only worth trying for enjoyment, not everyday tasks.

The 5800X single core boost runs at 4.7GHz out of the box. He increased it to 4.8GHz across all cores, showing no limits. I understand your point, though—usually you can't make every core match the stock single-core speed, which is why you're correct in that scenario.

They mentioned "compared to Ryzens own OC," which isn't typical stock behavior—that's PBO. Increasing the CPU beyond its stock limits by letting one core run faster while others idle is not considered overclocking.

If you manage to stay calm, let it go. If not, I’d switch to the back and tweak pbo2. That way you should reach over 5GHz on your fast cores. Core utilization is fine too—perfect in some cases, especially when handling f@h, wcg, Rosetta, etc.
