they all adjust their speeds in different ways
the 7700k tends to get a bit hot
so even though it’s a decent cooler, we can’t be sure the temperatures would stay within range
there’s a reasonable chance they’ll perform well
they might begin with a lower target and monitor the temps, increasing them gradually while keeping an eye on performance
there’s no certainty it will reach 5ghz—we haven’t seen many examples of that happening

easily reaches 5ghz without much effort
haven't pushed it higher since it's not that important
adding another 100mhz or 200mhz wouldn't significantly improve things
the extra heat isn't worth the gain in performance

the performance is already solid at 5ghz, so pushing further isn't necessary. It might add more heat without significant gains. For temperatures, cooling your CPU with an NZXT x52 seems appropriate. You should also consider adjusting voltage and other parameters to reach this level.

keep it simple with the adjustments gradually
don't try to crank it all at once

welcome here
it's just one of those things that feels satisfying to accomplish, even if it's not significantly quicker than 4.8ghz or 4.9ghz
