I encountered similar issues before. When overclocked, stop it (that resolved my problems). If not, inspect the Event Viewer (Windows) to understand what’s happening prior to the crash.

Do you push your processor beyond its limits? If so, either lower it or stop it temporarily to check reliability. If not, perform a full memory test using every RAM module installed.

Set up live Linux on a USB drive, acquire an extra large USB for redundancy. Launch Linux from the USB and utilize the file manager to transfer all data from your main OS drive to the USB for testing with MemTest86 as suggested.

I haven't pushed the processor beyond its limits. The memtest results aren't clear yet—I'm not sure they're reliable. Here are some images from the test; could you help me understand what they show? Also, since you're using just one RAM stick so far, it seems the other one might be the source of the issue.

Check for RAM issues by removing one stick, restart and test. If it works, the removed stick was the problem. If not, the remaining RAM stick may be faulty.

The one stick works fine; the other is the issue. Check if your RAM is still covered under warranty. If yes, request a replacement via RMA. If not, keep using the 1x8GB stick or get a new one.
