Hey there, seeking assistance with my setup. Here’s what I have so far: OS is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, specs are around GIGABYTE B650 Aorus Elite AX, CPU is Ryzen 5 7600X, GPU is GTX 3060 12GB, RAM is 32GB (two 16GB sticks), storage includes a 1TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive, and an 8TB HDD. The power supply is Thermaltake 850W with 80+ Gold certification, and I’m using a case from Thermaltake V Series.

My desktop tends to shut down unexpectedly, mainly between 7:45 AM and 10:15 AM on weekdays. I’ve set high performance mode, sleep disabled, and enabled update policies that block auto-updates or restarts without my approval. Initially, I thought the PSU fan direction might be an issue, but that didn’t help. Then I suspected someone might be forcibly shutting it down by pressing the power button. That attempt also failed.

I checked the PSU to see if there was a switch for on/off control, but it remained in the on position when I returned. The real concern is inconsistent shutdowns—this started on the 6th at 9:04 AM and continued through the 13th at 7:49 AM.

Turn off the "Global C-State" feature in the BIOS settings. Information and issues often appear when looking up "Global C-State" online and the computer enters idle mode.

I tried this out recently and it occurred while I was away for roughly two hours today. I examined the Event Viewer to check for any recurring issues, but found no consistent patterns. The sole significant program running in the background when I’m not using the computer is Deluge.

Trying to figure out how to manage these apps when the computer is idle. Usually Chrome, Discord, Steam, and Deluge are running, but on the 18th I turned everything off and left it on, only to find it still working fine when I returned.
