I've noticed some instability with my Ryzen system. A friend recommended running OCCT, and after testing the CPU with OCCT using the specified settings—large data set, extreme load type—I encountered errors when XMP was active. I disabled XMP and retested with RAM at 2133MHz, which completed without issues. Later, I adjusted XMP timings and speeds manually, but errors reappeared after roughly 13 minutes. I'm unsure if the RAM is faulty or if the CPU is the problem. The memory option in OCCT didn't trigger errors when XMP was enabled, so it's possible the issue lies elsewhere. My system has been stable for about a year without problems, and I haven't overclocked the CPU.

There seem to be some problems. Zen memory controllers struggle at high speeds, and it appears your RAM is a budget model.

Consider upgrading your setup or simply reducing the pace.

You're testing if your R5 2600 can handle OCCT at 3066MHz without issues. It's worth checking whether your system is set up with the correct XMP profile for that frequency.

That’s why the memory kit doesn’t perform well, the motherboard and RAM don’t sync properly, or the voltage on the 2600 isn’t high enough. The control units for older Ryzen models aren’t reliable—they often have problems. Some systems can’t support four sticks at 3000MHz.
