Hi
When my computer is powered off, I sometimes notice it doesn’t respond when I try to turn it back on. It works fine occasionally, but when it fails to power up, I unplug the main power and leave it overnight. This method seems to work, and it powers back on again for a few days.
I’m trying to figure out why the power button doesn’t start my PC at times. Any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated.
Thank you

Basic approach: Focus on simply repositioning the 24p motherboard connector and the cabinet connector connected to the power button. It might be marked, but check the motherboard manual for confirmation. Avoid using WD40 or similar substances on the connectors during this process. Make sure to disconnect the power cord beforehand and always use a conductive metal part of the cabinet to minimize ESD risks while working.

Hi
Thanks for your message. I'll give it a try! The computer was turned off from the power source for a few days, so when I plugged it back in last night it worked fine and it started up properly. I played Master Chief Collection all night. Thanks again.
