I understand - I'm just curious. I recently switched the PSU, thinking it might be the cause. I also replaced the computer case for a better setup, which involved removing everything, cleaning the motherboard, and putting it back carefully. So now we have: clean the contacts, reset the BIOS, and change the PCI slot. Regarding the contacts, do you mean the connection point on the GPU? Edit: A note too - whenever the computer has this issue, removing all cables except the keyboard and one monitor (including unplugging the power cord for about 10 seconds) seems to resolve it. This suggests the problem might be with the motherboard or MOBO rather than the GPU.
