Occasionally strange things happen with Windows 7.
This situation has never occurred before. After restarting my PC, the wireless mouse and keyboard stopped functioning. When I press del to enter BIOS, both devices work. In safe mode, the menu displays a keyboard with a mouse arrow in the center, but it doesn’t respond. The keyboard also fails when I boot normally or in safe mode. What’s happening? How can I start fixing this?
Insert a standard head louse and a typical keyboard into the setup and begin there
It seems odd that the wired connection functions while the wireless does not after Windows starts. Investigate possible driver issues or power settings. Check if the wireless adapter is enabled in BIOS. The solution might involve updating drivers or adjusting network preferences.
It seems the connection isn't consistent all the time. Plugging in my iPad causes the mouse arrow to freeze, but unplugging fixes it temporarily. Now it doesn't work at all and doesn't recognize the device. It might be an issue with the USB system itself.
