Do you have other monitor cables to consider? Certain HDMI cables may experience problems, and changing them can often fix the issue.
There are additional inductive devices in play. My monitor previously experienced this whenever the refrigerator shut down, likely because of a sudden surge through the circuit. Adding a line conditioner near the fridge reduced the frequency of this issue.
