Occasionally during a system reboot, my external devices fail to activate.
A few months back, I upgraded my system with these components: processor – Ryzen 9 7900x cooler, motherboard – Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 360 A-RGB, RAM – Corsair Dominator Titanium 6000MHz, power supply – NZXT C1200w ATX 3.0, graphics – RTX 4080 Super Founders Edition, case – JONSBO D41 MESH Storage, storage – 2TB Seagate Firecuda 530 and 4TB Seagate Firecuda 530 OS, operating system – Windows 11 24H2. Occasionally, after restarting, my peripherals shut down and fail to resume. I can’t consistently reproduce the problem; sometimes it lasts a week without issue. Nothing connected to USB stops working, though monitors display the login screen. Plugging in and unplugging devices doesn’t resolve it. Holding the power button to shut down and then restarting seems to temporarily fix it until it happens again. I’ve tried several fixes: swapped motherboard, updated BIOS, changed RAM model, replaced PSU unit, reconfigured GPU and RAM, reinstalled Windows 11 (from 23H2 to 24H2 fully). I’m seeking advice from others who might understand this unusual issue. Since I can’t find relevant information online, I’m hoping someone can help me resolve this strange problem.
