You're experiencing inconsistent internet performance between your devices. It seems the Archer C6 router is having trouble connecting to certain devices, while others work fine. Check the router settings and ensure no firmware updates are pending. Also, verify that the TL-WR841ND is properly configured on the same network and that there are no interference issues from other devices. Consider testing with a different device or checking for firmware updates on both routers.

Total number of devices is unknown, but speeds vary. Pay rates depend on your connection. Run a speed test on Huawei devices. Check how many are linked to the N router and how many to the C6. If it’s too many, the C6 might struggle.

Archer C6 WiFi supports three phones and a TV box. The setup includes a cable for a laptop, NAS, printer, LG TV, and a router. We pay for 50 Mb/s and receive around 46-48 Mb/s consistently. Speed tests take a while to load but deliver speeds similar to other phones. It's unclear how many devices are optimal, but none of them consume all bandwidth. Even without downloading or copying to the NAS, performance remains consistent. The two phones we use are the only ones affected; others handle tasks like streaming 4K Netflix without issues, though downloads may be slower.

I would check the gateway settings and confirm the firmware is current for both routers. Then perform a factory reset on each if needed, ensuring the password is set properly. If unsure, consult the manual or contact your ISP.

I changed the N router last night and today a new update for C6 arrived. I’ll try it out for a bit and will send you the outcome.
