I don't see any issues with the DNS. I checked to navigate directly to an IP address, not a domain. It also didn't work.

The Steam Shop now displays "Request Timeout" instead of "no connection or Server offline."

Attempt to launch Google or Facebook from another device on the same network. Assume router restart was completed, correct? If not, proceed.

I turned off my router and everything functioned properly from another device. On the same computer, using Internet Explorer or Chrome, there were no problems.

Check if port forwarding is active on your router, turn them off temporarily and test again. If that doesn’t resolve it, consider placing your PC in DMZ mode and see if the problem persists. I’m having trouble pinpointing the issue, especially since the Steam store isn’t functioning well and there’s a concern about EA BF4 activation from the source.

It's tough to point the finger at the edge like that. You're unfamiliar with this EA activation process, haven't tried it before. I've played BF for years on my old machine and it performs well on its own. I just got GOG Galaxy because Steam isn't working properly, but GOG also can't connect.

What is a DMZ? I’ve never heard of it before. Reading the wiki didn’t help much.

This setup places your PC inside a DMZ, meaning it will appear as an external device to the router when accessing the outside network. This configuration isn't recommended for regular use but can be useful for testing purposes.
