Hello, I own an ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI 6E Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) Ryzen 7000 ATX Gaming Board along with an ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 12GB GDDR6X, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a). I’ve noticed a white VGA light occasionally appearing on the motherboard after gaming sessions. Visually I see no graphics problems or booting issues, but it happens sometimes when playing games. I turned off the PC, checked for damage, and reinserted the GPU. It was fine. I also updated the system and verified everything was up to date. I’m unsure if the problem lies with the motherboard or the GPU. I was a bit concerned, so I bought a GPU stand and installed it again. After three days, when I returned from work, the light came back on without any issues. The system shut down and restarted normally.
Getting the debug lights while starting up is completely normal for any PC. It’s just a way to verify that all components are functioning properly. You should focus on the debug lights only if your system doesn’t turn them off, as they can indicate issues with specific parts.
The TUF series motherboards often come with somewhat unstable BIOS versions, which can lead to unusual behavior. Unless you observe the PC failing to boot, it's safe to assume no major concern. If the VGA indicator remains active, you might try opening the BIOS and adjusting the PCIe slot generation to "Auto" and selecting the slot that matches your GPU's support (for example, slot 4), then check if the issue continues.
