Occasional random freezes occur during gameplay in GTA V.
So im back..... Windows is a hot mess. I installed the 20H2 Fall update and i have the same issue again but i noticed that Watch Dogs Legions has the exact same problem like GTA had or now has again. My system didnt change exept that my system drive is a nvme m.2 ssd now. I just wanted to check if there is a solution by now or if i have to uninstall the update again. I experienced identical problems with the same freezes and CPU usage patterns. The issue persisted across the same motherboard—Asus Z97-K. The fix came from turning off the audio device in Device Manager and employing the NVIDIA software controller via HDMI.
