Occasional power cuts without any warning signs
I experienced intermittent power interruptions in my area, causing my PC to shut down unexpectedly when under stress. The problem isn’t consistent and there’s no gradual buildup. It happens suddenly—often with a brief click before the system stops. I’ve reviewed Event Viewer but found nothing concrete. Windows seems to be handling it without error. My RAM seemed unstable, so I replaced it, yet the issue continues. I’ve inspected all drives and rebuilt the PC to rule out hardware faults. Temperature monitoring didn’t reveal anything unusual. Right now, I’m considering two possibilities: my power supply is failing or the motherboard is malfunctioning. I ran a paperclip test on the PSU and the fan worked normally. I also checked that I’m not exceeding the recommended power draw (around 370W) and that my unit supports it. I haven’t recorded a video due to its unpredictable nature. Since I’m part of a racing league, any downtime during a race would be unacceptable. If you have insights, please share!

It might be the power supply unit, but I’m worried about buying one only to keep facing the same problem... I’m not sure if I’ll have any other options.
Sadly for testing purposes, you’ll need to obtain one. Purchase from Amazon or a nearby store with a solid return policy just in case. You can try it and send it back if necessary. Also, ensure you receive a reliable unit, as using a quality one is essential.
As a student, I’m constantly relocating each year, which makes it tough to settle down. My current space isn’t enough, and I can’t afford another room. Still, thank you for your support! While it’s the recommended approach, I’m not able to put money into one right now.
I'm fortunate to reside in a town with good public services, though we experienced three separate outages within an hour without any clear cause.
