I’m facing an issue where my computer freezes and displays the last image with vivid colors for a few seconds before restarting everything. This happened in games and while watching YouTube. My system specs are: Gigabyte RTX 4070TI Aorus Elite, Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite AX rev 1.0, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5, 6000Mhz CL36, 750W PSU.

It seems the system experienced an artifact that caused a crash. You mentioned restarting yourself, but it still reverted to the same issue after each reboot.

It caused the entire system to fail and then rebooted by itself.

I’m not sure why I kept trying the newest BIOS but ran into issues with my RAM. It seems I had to switch to stock speeds and ended up downgrading to F7.

It's due to the strict voltage cap at 1.3V, which is necessary for system safety.

Consider another kit that stays under 1.3V, since I’m picking this one because it’s in the QVL List.

But sure, we’re back on track. MakeUseOf provides a concise overview of downclocking your GPU and similar steps for WindowsReport. Just enter the settings I mentioned before. Probably not worth spending money on CPU RAM or a new motherboard right now—unless AMD finally fixes it with AGESA 1.0.0.8. That’s just my guess.

Sure, I'll attempt to lower the clock speed. Thanks a lot. The F8 model had memory issues causing crashes, but the F7 is running smoothly so far.
