Observed increased CPU usage in Firefox and Chrome upon launching and opening new tabs. Both reach about 70-80% utilization during these actions. Chrome also causes desktop icons to flicker briefly when it starts, resembling a quick Windows restart. This behavior is disruptive, especially while gaming or using the main monitor with a second display.
