Occasional glitches and restarts without crashes
In September 2023 I set up a new desktop (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fGPhgB). Generally it functions well, though occasionally when I power on the system my mouse becomes sluggish, games struggle to run smoothly, and it may unexpectedly restart without displaying a blue screen error. These interruptions are frequent enough to be quite bothersome, and I usually shut it down right away if I spot the mouse lagging. I’m unsure what’s behind this issue. I’ve attempted reinstalling Windows, resetting the PC, wiping all files, and even reset the BIOS via CMOS. A hardware diagnostic scan was performed, but no problems were identified. I’m still confused about the cause or a permanent solution beyond restarting. Your assistance would be invaluable! I’ve attached a text file containing system information (system_info.txt).
It might be wise to inspect your electrical setup for electronic interference. This can disrupt your computer and affect parts such as USB controllers. I’ve encountered this issue before—it’s often tricky to pinpoint. The best way to confirm is to relocate your computer to a different location or building and run it for a while.
Did you attempt to turn off the most startup tasks in Task Manager? It’s possible that something is consuming resources during boot.
