I'm puzzled by the inconsistent performance, but I usually manage to play assassin's creed 3 at 60 fps max on my GTX 1070. I was testing it against AC4, which is what I'm aiming for, yet I experience erratic frame rates. Interestingly, at 1080p and 60Hz, the difference in FPS between medium and maximum settings isn't drastic, and I'm confident my card can handle it smoothly. I've recorded both sessions using the built-in Ubisoft frame counter and will share the results along with my NV control panel settings. If anyone has tips on what to adjust for smoother playback, I'd appreciate it. Thanks ahead!

A quick note about AC4: the biggest drops happen during combat and in dense vegetation areas.

I also faced a comparable issue in an Assassin's Creed title. Adjust the affinity settings until it works, and it resolved the problems.
