Hello, your observations seem accurate. The system briefly pauses for a short time—often just a second or two—and any audio plays as if it's being distorted. With one display handling a demanding game and the other playing a movie, the freezes appear only when the movie is running on the secondary display. CPU usage stays below 100%, usually around 90% or less during the Spider-Man session with RT enabled. It appears the microfreezes might be linked to the HDD, especially since it's relatively new and shows low usage stats. Defragmenting the drive didn't resolve the issue, so you're right to consider the hard drive as a potential cause. The HDD sentinel warning suggests caution, but the age and performance metrics seem consistent with your suspicion.

Could be a memory issue. Need system specs to check that one. There are a bunch of pinned posts at the top of the troubleshooting section that describe what is needed and how to fix some common problems.

This refers to whether the process is sufficient, focusing on how often the page file(swap) is used and the initial available memory.

Someone seeking the same problem might have found this discussion. The root cause was an unstable AMD GPU driver. I updated the drivers for Spider-man Remastered, but it caused stuttering when playing media or gaming simultaneously, especially with alt-tabbing. Restoring to the previous WHQL driver fixed the issue. This post has been saved as a solution and placed at the top.
