At startup my PC shows a performance dip to around 2.75Ghz instead of the expected 4.5Ghz for this CPU. Everything feels sluggish initially, then after some time the reports return to normal. I’m looking for possible causes—processor model, motherboard, RAM, SSD, or cooling setup. There’s a suspicion about a faulty mounting for the AIO cooler. The task manager and Armoury Crate frequency charts display different numbers.

Given Armoury Crates' image, it seems unlikely the issue lies elsewhere.

I removed it and now Windows is showing the usual frequency, everything is running smoothly. I’m not sure if this was related to the software or just a sudden fix. I’ll check again to see if the problem returns.

It seems a newer update 0805 is available, while CPU-Z indicates version 0705 is active on your motherboard.

Once the computer was powered off and restarted, the problem disappeared... it seems the armorry crate was responsible. I’ll proceed with updating the BIOS as planned. Thanks all!
