Now that I've begun using F@H, I need to speed things up. I'm trying to upgrade my GPU or CPU for better performance. For the GPU, there are ways to adjust settings in the software or tweak frequencies gradually, and I want to stress test it. For the CPU, increasing frequency step by step is necessary. I'm looking for the right tools—what benchmarks or stress-test programs work best? Let me know if you need details!

Run OC on CPU using Aida 64 with a free 30-day trial. It performs stress tests and handles everything. For Intel CPUs, use Intel Extreme tuning utility to actually improve performance and Cinebenck for benchmarking the CPU. To overclock the GPU, install MSI Afterburner. For benchmarking and stress testing, try Uniengine Heaven.

CPU overclocking must always happen in the BIOS. Minor adjustments on Intel XTU can be made using software. Adding stress testers is easy with OCCT. For GPU performance, Kombustor is recommended.
