I create a budget game and productivity PC. The issue I encounter is my mistake. I attempted to overclock my CPU without realizing it was a faulty motherboard. Plus, I’m totally new to overclocking. I used MSI Live Update 6 and Command Center, but now things are even worse—it’s super unstable. I tried resetting it back to default in the BIOS, but it didn’t work.!!! NOTE !!! : I haven’t deleted any programs.
The installed software includes:
- MSI Live Update 6
- MSI Super Charger
- MSI Command Center
- MSI Fast Boot
- MSI Smart Tool
My system hardware is:
- AMD FX-8370 & Wraith
- NZXT Hale82 V2 - 550W
- Gigabyte Radeon R7 370 - WindForce 2X OC - 2GB GDDR5
- MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition
- HyperX Fury - DDR3 1600Mhz CL10 Kit Wit - 8GB
It’s a budget build, please have a good laugh before commenting.
Can someone assist me with overclocking or setting it back to default?

Krait is considered a weak overclocking board, not worth upgrading onto it.

How long should I leave the CMOS out?

Simply remove it for a moment, this should be okay with PSU unplugged
