Hi, I have a Ryzen 1600 on an Asus b350 Plus that I’ve overclocked using the CPU core ratio to 40(4GHz). The voltage offset is around 1.307v or 1.297v, which isn’t exactly remembered but seems reasonable. I’ve been running Aida64 for eight hours without temperatures exceeding 48°C with a Coolermaster Liquidmaster 120 Lite, which is impressive but might be typical for this CPU. I cleaned everything up and applied better thermal paste.

My concern is whether I should try pushing more GHz or lower the voltage since I’m still on a safe voltage level. I didn’t go much lower during this test, as it was only the second one I ran.

Also, I forgot to mention that RAM is set at 3000MHz with a voltage of 1.35. I had issues with that before switching my laptop for the PC, thinking it would come with 1 stick instead of 2x4GB. So I ordered an extra 8GB stick and now I’m using 2x4GB in dual and 1x8GB single. It seems like the voltage adjustment was necessary due to the different brands.

I upgraded my Ryzen 1600 to 4GHz with 1.307 or 1.297 clocks and a cooler. I’m using an Asus b350 plus, RAM at 3000MHz, 1.35V, and a liquidmaster 120 Lite. After running Aida64 for eight hours, everything is stable and temperatures stay under 48°C. It feels like I’ve hit the CPU lottery! I only run Aida twice—once at 1.35v and once at a higher voltage. Honestly, I was hoping it would fail badly. Should I try increasing the voltage or just lower it? It seems my chip is really pushing its limits. 😂

If I were you, I wouldn't go any further. Also, try to keep the voltage at 1.25v if you want to use that processor regularly. AMD says that 1.25v is a safe limit for continuous use; above that, the processor starts to degrade.

My apologies I’m on my phone and I thought its acting up as it seemed like it didn’t post and I lost all I wrote.
I thought Amd recommanded to stay within 1.35 also not planning yo keep this CPU past next year... just waiting for the next Amd lineup plus the supposedly DDR5 that its said to release next year for consumer use.
