Hello everyone I’m dealing with a problem where my browsers (Opera and Chrome) crash after overclocking. After testing on OCCT and Prime in each mode, everything seems stable. I ran one hour of tests in each mode, same with Prime. It appears the issue might be related to my CPU or number of cores. Although it hasn’t happened often before, it still crashes occasionally. Here are my specs:

Mobo: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
CPU: Amd Fx-6100
CPU Cooler: CM Evo 212
Memory: Adata 4GB DDR3 1,333Mhz CL9 single channel
GPU: Radeon HD7870 2GB
PSU: Coba 550W
HDD: WD Black 1TB
I overclocked the CPU using a guide, since I’m not a big overclocker. All games and browser tests ran smoothly except for occasional crashes. The CPU was set to 4.5Ghz at 1.43V, only affected by a multiplier of 22.5x200. Could you help me figure this out? It seems like adjusting the CPU or core settings might be necessary, but I’m not sure.

I probably discovered the answer by searching online, but the problem was with the CPU LLC modules on the ASUS M5A97 motherboard. It doesn't function as expected, so you should enable CPU LLC in auto mode to resolve it.

It didn't happen again, though it's unclear what might have caused it. It seems more likely related to a Windows 7 64-bit problem with Flash Player or RAM.

Do you have solved the problem or know a way to stop it from happening again?
