Hey guys, I'm really struggling here. I've searched online but found very little help. I'm just trying to fix everything from the ground up. The system setup looks like this: ROG Crosshair hero vii, Ryzen 2700X, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 with two 16GB sticks, a GTX 1066 GPU. My problem is that my RAM maxes out at 1066MHz because it's installed in slots A2 and B2. When I use the D.O.C.P standard profile, the computer crashes when I open any program, which might be causing stability issues. I'd really appreciate some images or detailed guides from people who managed to boost their RAM performance on this setup. The BIOS is running the latest version. Thanks a lot in advance.

Consider increasing the DRAM voltage slightly by .005-.020v. Save your settings and restart the system. 1066 corresponds to 2133mhz, which is the standard speed for most DDR4 on Ryzen. This adjustment is typical.

Before proceeding, verify that your motherboard's BIOS is up to date, as this is crucial for memory compatibility and performance.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, you might need to consult the Ryzen calculator, easily accessible through a web search.

I plan to try that, thank you. I also observed that my specific RAM isn't included in the QVL, which makes me wonder if that might be another consideration.

RAM rated at 3200MHz is OC RAM and XMP and D.O.C.P profiles do not function.
Even though it isn't listed on the QVL, your DIMMs should still work, but you'll need to manually input the SPD details and adjust your primary timings and voltage in the BIOS. SPD information can be retrieved from CPUz on Windows or via the Tools menu in the BIOS.
As mentioned by Darkbreeze, you can also use the Ryzen calculator together with Thaiphoon, though some technical understanding of the product is beneficial.

QVL is seldom, if ever, a full compatibility checklist, so the absence of your kit or sticks from the list isn't the main issue. Check the newest BIOS and attempt again. If that fails, you may need to adjust timings and voltage manually. I understand you mentioned they're in the A2 and B2 slots, but let's double-check since some product manuals might not be fully accurate. Examine the board carefully—they should be positioned in the second and fourth slots next to the CPU socket. Also worth noting is that with Ryzen, unlike other systems, memory not packaged together can cause problems. These units were indeed sold in a set, yes?

Make sure you're taking this risk on your own (overclocking).
Here’s what you need to do:
Obtain the Typhoon burner freeware to view your RAM details: http://www.softnology.biz/files.html
Print or save the information for reference.
Use the Ryzen RAM OC calculator: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryz...alculator/
Save the results on your PC.
Open Bios and enter the new values manually.
Enjoy experimenting with settings for the next three days (I tried four before giving up).
Check out their YouTube channel if you’re unsure how it works.
Also, consider watching a video about Ryzen RAM overclocking.
I was able to push my Ryzen 1700 to 3200MHz with 32GB stable except for Overwatch—possibly the game’s RAM OC settings don’t work well with Ryzen CPUs.

Confirmed the RAM is installed in the correct slots. Yes, they arrived in a 2x16 GB package, and despite changing the minimum settings, my PC still won't boot. After trying everything, I'm really frustrated. I've spent a lot of money and now feel like I was scammed. I won't give up.

Have you experimented with using a single module in both A2 and B2 slots to determine if it can POST without installing both simultaneously? If successful, verify the BIOS version by checking the box or consulting the motherboard's documentation.
