I acknowledge that I’m unfamiliar with PC building and overclocking, so I’ll keep this short. I bought an i5-6500 + Asus B150M-A to reuse my 16GB DDR3 RAM. A friend wants a new PC (CPU/MB/RAM/SSD/Case) for up to $350, including the $50 he offered to help me assemble it. I thought this would be his best option if I could add some extra RAM I already have.

I’d go for it, there’ll be a clear distinction right away, and the option to create original content boosts the advantages of the 6600K.
