Hello everyone,
I'm trying to boost the CPU ratio in my new setup. The maximum clock ratio is 4.5 GHz, but the i5 10600K can reach up to 4.8 GHz, though it doesn't always hit that speed. When I set the CPU ratio to 48, it reverts to 45 with an error message. Anyone know why this isn't working? Do you have any additional details?

Other threads mention these specifications directly. You won't notice 4.8ghz unless only a small number of applications are running.

Other threads mention similar details about this processor. You can find references in the two provided links. The reported speeds vary, and it appears only under specific conditions. The maximum reported was around 4.8ghz, but only when minimal activity is present. It was released for Z series boards.

Overclocking isn't enabled on this model, meaning manual adjustments won't work. It won't reach the maximum boost unless two or more threads are active.
