OC appears in HWMonitor yet not on the motherboard screen.
I've been adjusting my CPU (4790k) to 4400 for some time but recently updated the BIOS. My motherboard (VII Hero) remains at all default configurations, yet HWMonitor still displays the clock increasing to 4400. Is this just due to turbo mode? I don’t recall it doing that when I first set up the PC, though I’m not sure. I’m assuming it’s only related to turbo and want to be certain. I’ve never updated a BIOS before, so I just want to be safe. What I did was download the BIOS from the website onto a USB, connected it to my PC, turned off the system, pressed the reset CMOS button on the motherboard, and then updated.
