I’d like to boost my CPU’s speed to 4.5GHz, but I’m curious about the actual impact of raising the ratio from 45 or 36 with base clocks at 100MHz or 125MHz. Both options would reach 4.5GHz, but which one would perform better?
A. 45x100MHz
vs.
B. 36x125MHz
Any advice would be greatly appreciated—thank you!

You'll experience quicker RAM speeds (overclocked by 125%) using the blck method, though there could be issues with it. Timings may need adjustment due to this change. Multiplier overclocking is simpler, but both approaches result in the same CPU overclock. As long as everything stays stable, it should work fine. Hope that helps.

You'll experience quicker RAM speeds (overclocked by 125%) using the blck method, though there could be issues with it. Timings may need adjustment due to this change. Multiplier overclocking is simpler, but both approaches result in the same CPU overclock. As long as everything stays stable, it should work fine. Hope that helps.

Stable performance observed at 36x125.03MHz, using XMP settings to clock RAM to 3001MHz. The 45x100MHz approach wasn't ideal since it risked altering RAM configurations and causing issues.
Notes: 1.23v core voltage
Temperatures reached a maximum of 77-78°C during a benchmark test with a H100iGTX CPU cooler (on cores 1 and 3)
