Hi everyone
I’m seeking additional perspectives on overclocking an FX 8350 with air pressure between 4.4 and 4.6.
Have you come across any discussions about this?
Would it be feasible with a Frostwin V2.0 dual fan, or would liquid cooling be necessary?
Appreciate the feedback!

I own an MSI 970a Krait MB tower featuring an EG Coolmax design and three 120mm fans.

I wouldn't put any money into a cooler for the 8350. Their claims of 4.6 could have been achieved with a decent chip. Still, even with overclocking, the performance gain would be small. The FX line wasn't really a strong CPU series, so it's better to upgrade to something like a Ryzen 3000 series CPU.

Not using the factory cooler but opting for something slightly better like the CM 212 Evo seems feasible. I had mine running at 4.8GHz with a Mugen 3 cooler continuously at reasonable temperatures. The cooler is just one part of it; I also need a very strong motherboard and good case ventilation.

It seems like you're suggesting that the only thing needed is a better CPU cooler.
