Obtain the Windows 7 activation key following a transition from Windows 10.
We just moved to Windows 10 today from Windows 7. We still have a Windows 7 boot disc with the OEM product key. Can I use the old key on another computer now that the first one is running Windows 10? Does the switch to Windows 10 let me reuse the Windows 7 product key on a different machine?
You cannot reuse the Win7 key until the current Windows version is turned off.
