I'm not sure about a direct shortcut for the "search all" feature on the charmsbar in Windows 8. You might need to explore keyboard shortcuts or use the search bar manually.

Open the search bar, type "Win+s" and press Enter, then select "Files" from the results. Tap "Everywhere" to save your choice.

It did help in general, but the mouse macro keeps showing only the first version of the file. I'll restart the macro now. Thanks!
