Observing significant artifacts after a decade without problems
It looks like nearly all programs on your computer are trying to resize themselves and appear distorted. Anyone have an idea about what might be causing this? Your system specs are: GPU 4070 Ti, CPU 7900 X, RAM gskill DDR5 32GB, PSU Corsair RM850. I recently did a fresh Windows install, but the problems continue even after a clean reset. I uninstalled and reinstalled graphics drivers without fixing the issue. I’m not sure if it’s due to insufficient power supply capacity or if my GPU is being overworked. If anyone has faced similar issues, any suggestions would be appreciated.
When was the PSU's age, and did you employ DDU to remove the GPU drivers?
Artifacts generally point to a VRAM problem rather than the PSU. Consider taking out the GPU and using IGPU to determine if the issue resolves.
I've experimented with various monitors and TVs without any improvement. Now I'm swapping out my PSU for a 1300 watt one.
Did you genuinely detach the graphics card from the system and verify performance with integrated graphics? You need to remove it. Consider using another video cable. Also, try turning off A-XMP/DOCP settings in the BIOS.
