I’ve been facing an issue with my computer. When it starts up, the monitor doesn’t show anything, even though the motherboard VGA QLED stays on. The PC keeps powering on but there’s no display output. I’ve tried re-seating the graphics card in both the original and a different PCI-E slot, and power cycling the system multiple times hasn’t resolved the problem. I’m unsure what to do next.

Have you checked the graphics card on a different machine? What type of power supply are you using?

I haven’t been able to run it because I lack a separate machine for testing and my power source is a Corsair rm850. I assembled it a few months back and have been fine until recently.

I own the same graphics card that also caused issues with my display. It needed a GPU bracket to keep it secure. Many cards require a holder or similar support to fit properly. To confirm if the display works without other problems, please follow these steps: 1. Position your case on its side and open the panel. 2. Hold the card firmly in the slot so it stays straight—avoid any tilting. (I used an anti-static strap to prevent static when inside my case.) 3. Press the power button to check if the screen displays correctly. If you’d like, I can take a photo of your GPU bracket for reference.

I attempted to secure it, but the display isn’t showing anything. It didn’t sag at all initially. Could you think of other possibilities?

Just to confirm, you meant there’s no visible sag. Try pushing down on the graphics card slot above it—don’t make it too hard or too firm. Doing so might straighten it out. It worked for me. When you restart while pressing the card, it helped. After checking online, I realized I needed to purchase a bracket. Here’s an image of the bracket: the white piece touching the graphics card. Skip the reflections and flashes.

2. You could also attempt to remove the CMOS battery, wait 5-10 seconds, then reinsert it and restart.

I attempted to secure the graphics card during startup and changed the CMOS battery, but the screen remained off.

Removing your GPU doesn’t require releasing the clip on the right; it comes out easily. Your retention clip is damaged, and you faced problems when a cable was near the GPU, pushing it slightly out of place. Once you confirmed no obstruction caused a display issue, consider testing other cables/ports for your GPU and monitor.
