The reading doesn't seem to be correct. However, the temperatures appear acceptable.

has anyone experienced a comparable problem? I've updated hwinfo and bios to the latest versions, but it still occurs occasionally, even reaching up to 997w in peak levels. My AM5 model still has some extreme transient PSU specs around 1050w, which really worries me. I remember back then when AM5 CPUs would overheat a lot. Hwinfo also displays very high CPU core SVI3 TFP power during peaks—similar to CPU TDC and EDC up to 84 amps.

Looking for assistance? I've noticed some impressive clock speeds around 14GHz in Core Cycling. You mentioned removing HWINFO with REVO and reinstalling it—did that help?
