I known I may be stating the obvious but did you try manually updating the gpu driver? I believe you had said you used DDU eariler in the thread. The other concern I have is your PSU. 650w shpuld be fine for that system but you have an MSI branded PSU. I hope these PSUs aren't too chintzy. I believe my prebuilt might have included one of these MSI PSUs. MSI PSU may be bundled into a lot of pre-builts. If you have a nicer brand name PSU laying aroumd with adequate wattage, itay be worth tryimgnto swap them. I apologize for the cable management conondrum. There's an old saying when it comes to PC building. Its to never to go too cheap on the PSU. Its one component that everyone wpuld always go out of their way to spend a bit more on. I've had cheap PSUs go bad in the past. Lately, prebuilt PCs are becomijg much more common. A lot of people may be getting lower quality PSUs then they'd otherwise choose for themselves. Is MSI a reliable PSU? I dont know. Back in the day it used to be Corsiar, seasonic and antec (among others) who made PSUs whuch were known for good reliability. It could warrant further investigation. Maybe there's some Tom's reviews of the MSI PSU. Finally, if your system isnquite old sometimes there oxidation on the contacts which doesn't simply blow off with compressed air.. though gold played contacts shouldn't get oxidation. A few other products such as deoxit spray or deoxit d11 or WD40 specialist electric contact cleaner may also be good to try along with your compressed air. Edit: Seeing as this question was bothering me I went ahead and popped open my pre-build PC to discover its PSU. It is a high power brand PSU. Honeslty, I may aim to replace this with sometging better in the future. Would you trust it?

Uncertain about the reasons behind the belief that MSI might be problematic.

The flickering issue is only seen on a monitor and PC combo. I tried another PC connected to the flickering monitor, and it worked perfectly. The flickering PC was also connected to a 144Hz ultra-wide display without any problems. Now I’m completely puzzled.

Perhaps everything is okay. I only have a general idea about them. That's why I thought it would be good to look for some feedback.
