Just set up the new M.2 drive after moving it from behind the GPU, and the screen began flickering as shown in the video. It happens only on DP ports, HDIMs are fine. The issue seems to be with the port itself. Tested the GPU elsewhere and it functioned properly. Where should I investigate further?

I cleaned the GPU PCIe connector and reinserted it gently, possibly inspecting the PCIe header. Updated by leclod on January 5.

Check the display cable connections in the GPU and monitor. A loose link might be the issue. If you can, relocate the cable from nearby wires and power supplies to avoid interference and signal problems.

I attempted another compatible cable, yet the same problem persists. I tried installing another GPU into the PC 9070 with DDU, but it worked without issues. The PCIE slot blew out. When placed in another PC, the 3070 functions properly. The screen appears normal when no drivers are active (after disconnecting DDU and the network). In the BIOS, I changed the PCIE slot setting to 4 instead of auto. Any suggestions? There seems to be only one cable used for the GPU. At 60Hz it seems to resolve itself. Could there be insufficient PCIe lanes because of the M.2 Gen 4 1TB drive added?

there’s no noise in the digital signals I see, even though there are messy cables behind my monitor.

Attempted deleting the new NVMe drive but it didn’t resolve the issue. Adjusting to 60Hz only provided a short-term fix, and the flickering returned.

For DisplayPort issues, switch to HDMI instead.

HDMI doesn't handle G-Sync or 160Hz settings. I bought those extra features, now I need ways to get them back.

The issue seems to occur only when using DP. Check for dust in the GPU port. Try using a different DP port on the GPU, especially if multiple are available.
