Hello everyone, I spotted these grayish spots on my 32-inch 2K Samsung screen last night. They look like they’re embedded and can’t be easily removed. I heard they might be related to the internal layers. Could they spread? If not, they might stay hidden. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
appears to be a panel defect. This was the first time I noticed this problem. It might be related to a burn or something similar in Apple displays—on phones, "bright dot" refers to a small spot about a couple of millimeters wide that becomes noticeably brighter, especially around 30-40% brightness. Based on its size and visibility, it could resemble that issue I saw on a RedMagic 11 Pro and had to return it.
I would choose an RMA whenever the problem bothers me, especially when the screen is costly and the flaw appears within the initial weeks of delivery.
I believe I should try it too. The issue becomes visible on the screen when the monitor shows bright colors—do you know what might cause that?
It might resemble the bright dot often seen in AMOLED screens, which seems to be a manufacturing issue. I’m not very familiar with LED displays, but it appears to be a defect that occurred during production.
