It might seem odd, but the game actually ran smoother with those effects than when I used the normal ultra settings on my GTX 770. I was playing high-ultra for higher frame rates, but now I’m seeing even better performance—no explanation yet... Enjoy!
Because everyone shares it, and everyone keeps sharing it. It’s a big part of how the internet works.
Still looks like crap, but now it's blurred crap at least. Visuals are not just effects and textures, it's about style, ambiance, 3D models. And in all of these the game just outright fails imo. Cars look like toys, everything looks grey and boring, it has no style whatsoever, and the physics are god awful.
They removed an element from the original E3 preview that showed leaves drifting in the breeze. It looked minor, but it added a nice touch to the game's ambiance. Few others talk about it, yet the developers clearly thought more environmental details would enhance the experience. It's a shame they took it away.
