Began occurring on my latest PC configuration. Components: Ryzen 7 9800x3d ASUS TUF RTX 5080 64 GB RAM Lian Li Edge 1300W PSU Windows 11 Displays/TVs Samsung Odyssey G7 1440p 240hz (Desk) Viotek 1440p 144hz (Desk) LG G4 4K 144hz (TV). Switching from my two desk monitors to the TV and back causes one monitor to flicker black for roughly a second every 1–5 seconds. This persists continuously until I fully restart the system. After that, it resets until I switch back to the TV, then repeats. Previously resolved after upgrading to DisplayPort 2.1 cables for the two monitors (my TV uses HDMI), but the issue reappeared after about three weeks. I’m using the latest Nvidia drivers and updating them regularly. On the desk setup, the TV is fully disconnected in Windows settings, and both desk monitors are disabled when using the TV. I’ve excluded other causes: monitor settings misconfiguration didn’t trigger the flickering initially. Cables on my old DisplayPort connections still cause the problem after a short period.
